Worst of both worlds after reorganisation

Pros

For those of us that have been here for a long time, a final salary pension.

Cons

Reorganisation at the beginning of the year brought two fairly different UK businesses together. Somehow managed to get the worst processes/people/policies from both environments.

Less than thrilled.

Pros

Great employees, relaxed work environment, training is improving greatly. Easy to make a schedule that you can adjust to fit your life. No sales.

Cons

Very poor lower level management. Most of the "opportunities and promoting from within" are based on a selective popularity contest rather than skills or credentials.
