Pros

Great benefits: 3 weeks vacation plus sick days as soon as you start Great opportunities to travel and work: GDF Suez Raid, Plant tours, Employee meetings, and other events Great atmosphere: not very stressful (more European) Lots of company paid lunches

Cons

The bigger the company the harder it is to change anything on your own. Lots of bureaucracy. Very department oriented thinking and as a result no clear understanding of the big picture. Pay could be more competitive. Training what training?

Pros

They did offer more PTO and sick days than most US companies.

Cons

They use their PTO and sick time as ways to keep employees there even though the environment is toxic. And you only get to actually use your PTO if your manager likes you. They pay the new hires MUCH more than the experienced employees. They promised company wide raises for 'cost of living increases', and then never delivered. When pressed about it, they told employees that we misunderstood. When you are good at your job the only reward you get is more work and management telling you that you still aren't doing enough. The lazy employees are rewarded though.

Pros

Could work from home in a hybrid situation. Nothing other than that - got lured in with a low salary being told I’d get a 17% bonus. Turns out that would have occurred in 2024 and was only 15%. “Maybe”.

Cons

Execs that work 12-14 hour days, plus weekends and expect others to do the same Toasters are banned from the office as they are too dangerous! You must not walk fast as it is too dangerous Really low pay for the role. Terrible location.
