Pros

It is a place where you can say you go to work. It is a very well known company.

Cons

even though I did very well this is not a place that I would recommend. It is a factory environment that looks like a professional business but feels like a prison. For all the computers and technology, it is hard to see how so much money could go to waste. What Discover does is spy on it's card members. We can in an instant see everything about them. Management is chosen for it's suspicious nature and ability to avoid any kind of responsibility. I would liken Discover to a hen house. There is a very visible pecking order.

Pros

Overall the company is people oriented and provides good work and life balance. Many people left and came back.

Cons

Salary not competitive. Rewards should be bigger for excellent performance.

Pros

The incentive program was pretty solid for sales/retention. Lots of room to move around.

Cons

Treat employees like children (understandably as they hire a bunch of 18 year olds)
