      Pros

      - Team culture in most projects - Smart people and most of them are friendly - Huge knowledge repository - ability to gain a lot of skills

      Cons

      - Some managers/ supervisors make your head spin. Its difficult to understand how they are doing well even though they treat people badly and unfairly - They talk about open exchange of information but they wont discuss things that are most important to people such as lay off timing, numbers and specific criteria etc. Great to be there in good years, may not be so good when times are tough - Crazy work hours at times. I guess thats one thing thats common in all Big 4.

      Pros

      Good pay, lots of singles to party with. We know we are the elite - Deloitte only hires from the top tier schools.

      Cons

      Sink or swim. Senior managers and managers are salesmen, and don't really manage their own projects - responsibility is unloaded on consultants and we don't get a whole lot of guidance. Success is clique-based. Get in the right group and you are set for life. Performance ratings are through "consensus." This means anyone you ever came into contact with can provide input. Sounds good, but it really means you can't say "no" to anyone, and you don't have clear priorities to help you manage your own work.

      The "smaller" Pretoria office provides a great culture of friendship and mentorship while ensuring that the highest levels of professionalism and quality is maintained

      Cons

      For the responsibility only average levels of compensation is obtained. Due to AA targets, promotion might be delayed
