Cons

Joined recently , left this place within an year. This review represents most of the members of Medidata Brand. I'm not writing this because I've problem with anyone in the company. I'm writing because I don't want anyone else to fall for the fake PR done by HR. Poor work life balance. If you join be ready to work late night. Working till 10 PM is normal. Managers will eat your brain and keep assigning you new task and expect you to complete it as if you've Harry potter's stick. Managers are the biggest loser's I've seen. They'll eat the credit if something goes right but if something bad happens they will hide behind the employee. Not a single policy is employee friendly. Variable pay is paid after two months of the cycle. That too you'll never know what % they paid. Managers are quite old and they think they own the place. They'll make you work till late night and if that's less even on weekends. No compensation is paid if you work late night or on weekend. Too much politics. The old guys plot plans against the new joiners. They want to keep their job safe by playing petty politics. Being a product company you expect the perks. But here you'll only get your salary, that's it. I feel it's an over glorified service firm. The work culture is not like product company at all. All of their new hires are from service based firms, that is also the reason why it feels worst to work here. You've to serve a long 90 days notice period. That is the biggest bottleneck if you want to get out of here. Also the HR or recruiter will not tell you that they have 90 days notice. Neither they write it in the offer letter. Many of the new joiners have resigned within a year to get rid of this suffering. The attrition rate is going to be very this year because of the exploitation they've done to the employees. So sincere advice to you Don't get fooled by the paid reviews done by the company. It's not a 4-star company at all. Save your life and don't join this company.
