      Overall Great Experience at DWS

      Pros

      Excellent Social Club - Monthly drinks are awesome and the social club in all states is always finding great events Paid Certifications - DWS Paid for my certification which I studied for while on the bench. They even pay a certification bonus once you achieve the qualification I spent a few weeks on the bench, however this has not been a problem and DWS provided me ample time to study during this time Referral bonus is great if you find somebody who might like to work here Interesting client work Performance Review Cycle works well - however is not frequent enough Great Christmas Parties Good support network with BD's and other consultants keeping in touch

      Cons

      Pay is only adjusted once a year - except in 2020 nobody got a payrise due to COVID so now it will be 2 years since anybody got a payrise Sometimes BD's will try to squeeze you into an assignment that isn't a good fit, however this only happened once Sometimes hard needing to spend an entire 8 hours per day on client site not including lunch to make up the full 40 hours, but some clients are flexible Previous CEO never allowed working from home (or required special circumstances)

      Thank you for your comprehensive 4-star review. COVID threw up many challenges for DWS and our clients, though thankfully due to the support and assistance from all our staff we have come out the other side very well - and have also helped many of our clients adapt to their new working environments as well.

      You are a billable resource

      Pros

      Strong consultant community, company has been out there relatively for a while.

      Cons

      Once you are in, it's hard to manage your career because they do not weigh much of your contribution to the client. As long as you are billable, you a good employee. Hence, you are stuck at your role.

      Thank you for your review. DWS has a very clear career progression and development path including paid training / certifications. Our progression process is clearly defined allowing the business to recommend, or the individual to self-nominate.
