Pros

Wonderful work environments communities - many good people to liaise and collaborate with. Reasonable budgets to work with for executing approved plans programs tasks activities.

Cons

Highly political and competitive environment at mid mgt levels. Many role redundancies and overlaps. Layoffs and reductions every Q4. Solid ECHiP program means many employees are or have been part of selective hiring through leadership nepotism and selected schools. Priority is given for those hired within these streams.

US pay is based not off location, but off of Columbus, IN making pay in large cities not competitive at all... ~30% below market rate A few talented middle managers exist, but most are about furthering personal career above developing people. Those that prioritize longe term business & team development are left behind. A pay bump for internal job switching encourages folks to switch every 18months as opposed to true long term business development. Innovation is passed over for status quo. Red tape heavy Large corporate cuts are a normal part of life - usually every 2 years
