Pros

Decent pay, good benefits, plenty of community involvement projects that you could volunteer in. This is a good company to start off your career.

Cons

Poor work life balance, unstellar employee retention rate and frequent shifts within the company led to interference with job tasks. Cummins performance is purely linked to how Truck OEM's do. One year if they do well, Cummins will do well. If markets are down, they will not be afraid to lay off.

Pros

Great company to work for, if not for anything, for the people that you get to work with. There is a sense of "doing the right thing" wherever you are in the company, and it feels genuine. They care about the environment, and improving the community with them wherever they are. Employees are open minded, so even though projects can be boring, there is always some fun around.

Cons

Not the best salaries in the business, although not the worst either. Upper management does not inspire confidence at all. One day they hire thousands, next day they fire just as many. Politics everywhere, you need to know people to advance.

Pros

The only pro that I can think of is that there is some flexibility in very few departments. There are also SOME friendly people.

Cons

No mentorship opportunities, lack of advancement, the only career path for everyone is to management. No technical career path. It seem to be "up to management or out the door." Pay is not competitive at all. Management move around a lot so there is no consistent progress on projects. There's always a right way to do things, and you are absolutely required to follow the process...... unless a customer is paying more. then it's okay to cut corners.
