      Was a great company but, lost focus on core business.

      Pros

      Decent pay Initially good benefits but, as with many companies, coverage declined and employee expenses increased Ability to move within the firm Some very solid people to work with

      Cons

      Allow / encourage employees to move to different positions before they learn the position they are in. Management unwilling to accept honest, accurate feedback. Hard work and results are not valued as much as being a 'yes' person. Too focused on social issues and not on the company's products, services and customers.

      Claim to be ethical but management has high tolerance for poor treatment of others as long as people deliver results

      good work-life balance, growing business, interesting projects

      Cons

      low salaries, raises were basically eliminated for lateral and almost eliminated vertical promotions. many high performers are getting no raises under the claim that they make too much money. not much people development and no leadership development

      Cummins is a very stable company with great retirement benefits. The work is interesting and most developement teams are great to work with

      A poor employee rating and ranking system. Employees that stay under the radar are ranked average and left alone. Those that step up the plate and take on risk are not rewarded and often poorly ranked if a project has minor issues,
