      Stack Ranking Teams

      Pros

      Great culture within the individual teams. Talented engineers who care about what they are working on.

      Cons

      Upper management have recently implemented stack ranking within each team, with the 5 lowest performing engineers per team being performance managed and let go.

      Poor experience

      Pros

      1. Goodies are sent to employees regularly 2. ESOPs provided 3. Good insurance policy

      Cons

      1. Poor management. 2. Biased approach. 3. All powers (including your salary, your hike) lie in the hands of the immediate supervisor. Concerns shared to the HR/upper management against the supervisor will not be taken any action on. 4. No upward feedback system. 5. Very less yearly hike in comparison to the current market standards. The yearly hike won't even be able beat the current inflation rate. 6. Toxic environment (I quit to keep my mental peace in place). 7. No training culture.

      Horrendous company to work for (India)

      Pros

      Growing company with decent stock price at the moment Nothing explicit as compared to other companies in the same segment

      Cons

      India (Pune) is a Horrendous office/company to work for. No credibility of senior management. Boot licking and brown nosing culture. No backbone of the senior management in India office. They look up to the decisions made by the US management and follow like a donkey even if they are incorrect. Controlling mentality and no autonomy is given to the members of the team No work life balance. Ability to work remotely should be considered under normal circumstances and not just during Covid time.
