Pros
Name recognition, looks great on your resume. Benefits are great, and lots of company discounts. The smart people here are some of the smartest in the industry. The company is trying to make itself into a digital leader and has taken good steps to do so. You'll make some great connections.
Cons
A lot of hype about the brand(s) & how the company has the best audience, but it's mostly talk. The best people rarely stay, either because the environment is bonkers or they can't get promoted. Often people leave for a better role and come back at a much higher level after a couple years. No wonder they leave because if you ask for an increase & actually want to stay it won't be approved. There are great ideas, but no one can figure out the execution; or if they do it's after a royal screw-up. The nepotism is extreme in certain groups. People without proper skills are promoted because they have the right friends. Mid and lower level employees are never consulted; when it comes to changes and reorganizations they're only told to figure it out once the decisions have been made, even when those decisions don't actually benefit the country.
