Pros

Went in for an interview at Conde Nast. The building is everything you would expect from a company with major international publications. Everyone I encountered was more than friendly.

Cons

Intimidating work environment: especially in terms of fashion and appearances

Pros

-Willing to give junior people responsibility. -Able to grow quickly if you are capable and in the right group. -A lot of room to move around, many job functions. -Will be promoted and obtain higher salary once you 'graduate'.

Cons

-There are some 'personalities', but most people are nice. -Salaries and compensation less than elsewhere. -Benefits good, but quick to be cut during downturn.
