Pros

In growth areas, great support and budgets to get things done. There's a pride about the premium content so people are generally proud to be here. New building next year looks pretty awesome.

Cons

Most of the money still comes in from print so some eyes are on the future, but most eyes are on the here and now/past. Freedom Towers is nice, but uhh...

Pros

Smart editors committed to creating the best possible content. The chance to work for a top top publisher. Making it my job to stay on top of trends, happenings, movements, consumer preferences, and behaviors.

Cons

Layoffs as a result of downturn and high-flying corporate culture.

Pros

Outside CN is still known as a very high standard place to work, where excellence is the focus.

Cons

Inside everyone knows it's a place where you disappear, because the growth of each is not important. People skills are not well used by the management.
