Pros

Great reputation, high standards (as a first job it will be all you know), and working with the industry's best.

Cons

Directors who treat their assistants like garbage, curse them out, belittle them in front of co-workers, and constantly working in fear.

Pros

Amazing brands, moving to new office in WTC, good management teams, healthy competition between titles at CN.

Cons

To capitalize on maximum compensation, you have to leave the company and get hired back to Conde Nast. This mantra is slowly changing.

Pros

You work with interesting and highly talented people to put out the most compelling editorial content and magazines in the world. You can be proud of the end product we all work to create.

Cons

Facebook and Google this is not. It depends on your department, but generally there are not a lot of perks in the workplace. Conde Nast is notorious for underpaying and overworking you, so be ready work hard. Looks great on the resume though.
