Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to meet with some big clients that will help you put your feet in the door. Every magazine has a different work environment so it could be that you have great relationships with co workers

Cons

There is some co-worker drama that can occur here that I did not appreciate. I would have liked to see a level of professionalism that other offices hold. Also the pay is not good for New York City. Many assistants lived in other cities and commuted or lived with parents

Pros

Awesome people that will help you grow. Upper management usually takes your input to heart and tries to let you have your voice.Hours are usually good.

Cons

A lot of times despite upper management listening to you, they fall back on their old ways and cool ideas get shot down
