Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re pleased to hear you recognise the strength of the contracts we work on, but we’re sorry to read that your experience has been affected by concerns around morale and pay. At Computacenter, we want to be a place where people matter and where Winning Together means feeling valued for the contribution you make. Reward is reviewed regularly to reflect role, skills and market conditions, alongside the wider opportunities we offer for development and progression within a can do culture. Feedback like yours is important, and we encourage our people to continue sharing their views through internal channels so we can listen, learn and keep shaping a working environment where everyone has the chance to succeed as we shape the digital future together.

Pros

• Wide variety of contracts across finance, building, health and other sectors • Opportunities to travel and develop strong technical skills • Ability to train and mentor new and senior engineers • Sharesave scheme and option to buy extra leave • Access to private medical insurance (BUPA), which was worthwhile

Cons

• Lack of recognition for long service — no acknowledgement from regional management upon leaving • Communication from management focused solely on returning equipment rather than recognising 23 years of service • Last four years became increasingly difficult due to being placed on contracts that negatively affected my physical and mental health • Management claimed to listen but avoided making reasonable adjustments • Request for reduced hours was dismissed without meaningful consideration • HR relied heavily on management’s view rather than assessing the situation fairly

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed reflection on your time with Computacenter and for recognising the breadth of contracts, development opportunities and benefits you experienced during your career. Supporting customers across a wide range of sectors and enabling our people to build strong technical capability and mentor others is an important part of how we aim to shape the digital future. We’re sorry to read that the latter part of your experience did not reflect what we strive for as a place where people matter, particularly in relation to health, wellbeing and how your long service was acknowledged when you left. Feedback like this is taken seriously, especially from someone who dedicated over two decades to the business, and it highlights how important consistent, thoughtful communication and genuine consideration of individual circumstances are. Winning together depends on our people feeling listened to, supported and valued throughout their time with us, including when adjustments are requested or when long‑serving individuals move on from the organisation. While we can’t comment on individual situations in a public forum, your comments will be shared internally to help inform ongoing conversations about how we support experienced people and live up to our can do culture in practice, not just intent. We appreciate you recognising the positives alongside the challenges and wish you well for the future.

Worst management

Pros

Here company doesn't do any sales, instead manager go for onsite, team outing ,dinners, conduct townhalls , spend money on workshops. As sales is not good, no customers, existing customers are not renewing contracts. So employees are being terminated with no benefits. I'm also affected by layoff. Also no internal job opening to move within teams . Worst management. They spent crores for new facility opposite to Christ college, made everyone come to office with micro management. No proper space to park vehicles , no proper food in cafeteria - too costly vendors who are pet of country head. Finally no hike, no bonus , no promotion and layoff to employees.

Cons

Everything is a con here
