Pros

A growth-oriented environment that encourages positive individual, professional, and skill-based development. This is a different creative experience than you'll find in chop shoppe creative studio. As facebook and other platforms change so do the techniques, which for someone who is eager to learn like myself it is a great experience. It's obvious that CTC has been growing rapidly and they are trying to build new process and new support systems to help the people. They are open and transparent about areas of improvement and it's clear the intentions of management and the executives mean well. This transparency also comes with the opportunity to test and learn new tactics, some of them that don't work out which can be frustrating at times. However, this is what makes this place special is to be invited in to build the next version of this company and see the results of what everyone has built. For those who are perfectionists and expect to have everything already planned for them it is a challenge. It truly is an entrepreneurial group top to bottom. The experience working on this team has given me skills that now I'm able to use in an area of work that I've always dreamed of doing.

Cons

Like I said there is almost too much transparency which can create a sense of frustration that everything isn't already all figured out. There is a high level of focus put on culture which requires more time than other companies which can feel at odds with just doing work. For me, this investment in time was so worth it as it developed some lifelong friendships and bonds with coworkers that I'll have forever and a positive outlook on how to manage an agency.

Pros

I've been a part of a lot of companies in my career and this one is just different. Maybe it's because of the Differentiation (HR) department that is OBSESSED with making the lives and experience of employees better every day; or maybe it's the companies mission of helping entrepreneurs achieve their dream. But the fact is, you can't truly appreciate how special this place is until you've worked somewhere else. From CEO all the way down, people are put first. Remote is awesome! The company is making a big move towards diversity and inclusion that is so cool to see! The list goes on and on!

Cons

I guess it depends on what you want out of a workplace. If you want a simple, mundane job, where you just go quietly about your business and don't get much feedback, that would be a con for sure. Clear is Kind is a core value that can be tough to reckon with if you're not willing to be challenged to grow. Also, if you're obsessed with money first, this place probably isn't for you. It's ethos is people first for sure. Growing pains are real, but it's to be expected in this environment.
