Few opportunities for progression

Pros

Time off, flexible schedule. Used to be working from home capability but that’s been removed.

Cons

Advancement in company is minimal, pay increases/merit don’t cover inflation or increase in living expenses. They pay people coming into company more than existing people. Also will be refused promotions (even if you’re fully executing at 1-2 levels about pay grade) if funding isn’t there. Director favors friendships over quality.

Phil Jasper said during an All Hands Call, after showing a slide that displayed the 17 Senior -most Leaders that are all white, that he “values diversity of thought, and that’s what matters”. Read between the lines = he could care less about cultural and racial diversity. I was shocked that he said this during a call with so many people on it.

They pay just enough to keep you

The pay can be good hourly if you live there and work a minimum of 60 hours a week.

Cons

Don't go above and beyond and try to make the place better. They just want to push product out, regardless of quality. Senior management also does not hold vendors accountable to get quality parts in and in a timely manner. They can keep going on with 500 day lead times and when the parts finally get to the facility, they fail. Oh and forget about having a good amount of vacation time until you've been there for 10 years.
