Best retail company I've ever worked for!!!

Pros

Benefits are great and the opportunity to learn and grow is always there. The environment is very open and communication is encouraged. You are challenged to be the best you can be.

Cons

The company is in a state of flux at the moment but it is headed in the right direction. You do have to be open to change because it seems to be a constant.

Pros

A lot of prestige working for Coach. Good for starting out in luxury goods.

Cons

Rude and unprofessional managers and employees. Everyone talks about each other behind their backs. Super strict about attendance, dress code, nail polish/hair color, lockers. Push too much on sales and a very disorganized company with an extremely high turnover of employees and managers. Hours depend on what level of part time you are and there is a lot of sale stealing

Pros

Great starting pay for a retail starting job, and better with experience. Definite chances to move up in the company. All benefits offered are great, and at a great price taken out of your weekly paycheck (which I think is very convenient). Most people are absolutely great to work with and professional.

Cons

Hours are being cut, still technically at full time hours, but the bare minimum. Then many new employees are being hired, which is counterproductive. Management has many miscommunications with various issues, and they also tend to play favorites in my particular store. Customers are sometimes extremely mean when not given exactly what they want (even when policy states you cannot do that specific thing, and regardless how nice you were about informing the customer of it).
