How work politics can ruin a great organisation

Pros

Initially you will get very good work but you. Flexible work timing and excellent work life balance. Good place to start your career as fresher.

Cons

Too much office politics. Need to know how you have to climb the ladder by standing on others shoulder. Senior people has their own personal agenda to go up into the ladder.

Latest and greatest for network equipment and 40Gb+ optical stuff.

Cons

Just remember that Cisco is a company run by sales people. The engineers are an unfortunate evil required to sell more equipment. If the senior executives could get rid of of the engineers ( or replace them with engineers from India or China ) they would.
