Pros

1. Incentive based bonuses for employees which are generous 2. 16 standard holidays each year (paid leave for employees) which isn't common today with American companies (lucky to get maybe 8) 3. Private language tutoring provided (Spanish for English speaking natives & English for Spanish speaking natives) - paid by the company 4. Opportunities to move positions within the company, because of Ferrovial Grupo and all of its affiliates which are multi-national and diverse - as they often promote from within, and assist with the moving expenses & legal processes required to transfer from one location to the other, especially when moving to a new country. 5. Work-life balance. They expect you to work hard/ diligently, but are also understanding with you taking time for family & personal obligations as needed. 6. Continuing education training each year for every full-time employee (chosen by employee, then approved & paid by Cintra) 7. Fully stocked kitchen provided at no cost (including foods for breakfasts, snacks, & lunches, bottled waters, sodas, teas, Keurig machine, and multiple espresso machines) 8. Financially strong, stable company - which provides a sense of job security

Cons

1. Communication between departments, and between job levels (executive to management to worker bee) has improved, but still needs a lot more improvement. 2. There's a lot of last minute changes or final plans made, which can be difficult to juggle when it impacts multiple parties with already full schedules to work out. 3. The language barrier between Spaniards and Americans can be a challenge. ... Americans often feel 'left out' with the majority of management/ executive levels being Spanish & speaking primarily in their native tongue.

Pros

The benefits at Cintra were great. The health plan was good with much of the premuim paid by the company, 17 days vacation and 15 or so public holidays, with a week of those around Christmas. The job duties were varied, with plenty of responsibility, if wanted.

Cons

I cannot think of anything bad to say about the company. I enjoyed working there and thought that other people did too
