      Only thing good about ACE is that acquire lots of businesses.

      This is not an employee friendly company. All business, all time. Hoping that will change in the Chubb acquisition.

      Management needs help..... They have high expectations and they provide you the training or tools to complete the job. Very political and lots of favoritism

      Pros

      It has been a steady company with good benefits. Where once you had to move a lot to advance, some departments have become more flexible in where you live and work. What's in the future post-sale is hard to say.

      Cons

      Virtual workplace is unevenly available. I could work from anywhere, but my dept is not comfortable with remote employees. The impending sale has caused some 'leaders' to check out and spend more time lobbying for their own jobs than leading their employees through the uncertainty. It appears some key benefits will be eliminated.
