Pros

Huge, financially stable company. Lots of opportunity throughout the country. Good work/life balance, remote working. Lots of confusion when navigating around the company.

Cons

The company has many years ahead of itself post merger for the dust to settle. The "Chubb" company is gone. You will be worked to death and get a 2% raise after you hit your goals. If someone tells you differently, they haven't worked there long enough or came from the ACE side. Too much politics with Senior management and promotions are very biased.

Pros

Nice new offices, locations are good and easy to get to. The locations have lots of access to shops and food.

Cons

Micromanagers that are extremely strict. Poor/ one way communication between managers and employees. Strongly encouraged to work overtime and weekends with no extra pay or rewards. Sick and annual leave is culturally frowned upon. Coffee breaks and eating at your desk strongly disencouraged. Many privacy breaches, careless with procedures, poor and inconsistent training and no standardisation. You are very much alone there, collaboration and discussions with team members frowned upon. Everyone is out for themselves. Numbers focused with little care for quality.

There's a reason they are losing employees

Pros

Currently, Chubb offers a pension.

Cons

Chubb is still the good old boys network it always was. It offers very little opportunity for advancement and growth. Currently, they prefer to hire young and cheap. There is minimal attention given to developing employees and/or increasing either employee or customer loyalty. You are either cheap or you are in their club. If you aren't, you will be overlooked and opportunities to grow in the industry will be stalled.
