Pros

nice office environment. good equipment.

Cons

this company has an unrealistic culture. they have an issue facing the truth and is either overly optimistic or overly stringent. they assess works and people not objectively but subjectively. a lot of favoritism going on and not accepting of diverse personalities. lots of bullying (offensive behaviors) going on as well without being addressed at all.

Pros

I supported the Human Resources department hiring throughout the entire organization, but primarily the HR dept. I visited Richmond for a week long training but sat in the Plano office. Great Company Brand Culture is similar to a consulting company Remote employees are celebrated Remote working is celebrated Process-oriented work culture Intelligent Hires- Rigorous Interview selection process to include case studies

Cons

As someone who directly recruited for the organization, I interacted with hiring managers at the Manager to Director level. Bureaucratic Process Oriented work culture- Lots of Red Tape to do simple tasks Dogmatic Leadership style- Yelling Screaming Berating employees Unfair hiring practices with regard to discrimination of candidates based on race, nationality/origin widely practiced. I would not advise anyone of color to work in the HR department.

Pros

If you are young, energetic and willing to work for less than the going rate, this can be a fun place to start out. Designer workspace includes big windows, wood floors, leather sofas and coffee bars!

Cons

Jobs posted and offered as permanent are switched to contract once accepted by the applicant, with the promise of a permanent role dependent upon "performance" at a later date. When the contract expires it is extended (2 years max), rather than going perm, implying performance was not the true factor (i.e., poor performers should not be offered extensions). There is also a bullying culture that rewards aggression under the guise of promoting "Type A" personalities.
