      Long hours even after troubleshooting problems throughout the night you were still expected to put in your regular hours during the day. I went a whole summer without getting any sleep and there was no sympathy from management.

      Pros

      I am a full time employee and have been working at CalAmp for 1 year. The company has a very progressive and thriving environment. "Work Hard, Play Hard" is how I would describe the culture - a group of talented and passionate people who are doing their best to shake up an industry and produce game-changing products. Exciting times in our vertical with key partnerships and more to come.

      Cons

      As with any company, there are growing pains as new products are introduced. However, culture seems lively and positive as we obtain this goal.

      Great group of employees. Everyone is hardworking and committed to their job

      Like many public companies, it is profit driven. Continues to ship more and more of the work overseas to increase margins. Little effort is put into growing the people.
