Pros

Develop experience and skillset that can used in other opportunities. Pressure, targets and micromanagement are fundamental pillars of the organization

Cons

Atmosphere felt cancerous, depression common among employees. Short term disability insurance is mandatory. low compensation, fixed late hours for new or junior employees. Forget having a social life.

Pros

CIBC offers great benefits and pension packages. CIBC also pays for education and career advancement.

Cons

Once you have achieved higher education and meet a jobs requirements its not enough, because there are barely any entry level jobs and the intermediate roles require a lot of experience. Some roles are contracted to other companies. Too much is expected of us with little pay.
