- managers are easy going and always approachable - very relaxed environment - managers support you in advancement - location was good - a lot of corporate discounts

Cons

- hours are not flexible, shift bids are horrible - focus on stats a lot, results oriented - pay needs to be higher than other FIs

- projects take forever to get off the ground - lack of transparency between departments - not willing to spend money on technology to better operate back office processes - employees fall easily into a comfort zone and are not willing to handle change

Pros

Great management that is very flexible with ensuring you perform your duties at a comfortable level. CIBC is a very great organization to work for that is very supportive of community involvement efforts and is very supportive of personal growth goals as well as professional growth goals.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working for CIBC is that it is a large organization that requires compliance measures be put in place so that any risks undertaken by employees are hedged. There is very little flexibility in terms of flexibility in my job in terms of performing customer service measures.
