Pros

Early in employment, knowledgable peers made for a productive work environment. Training was readily available, and encouraged. Vacation policy is generous, benefits also good.

Cons

As management turned over favoritism was evident and opportunity for advancement was not based on qualifications or work performance. Direction of company seemed to become unfocused and administrative support departments seemed to decompensate

Pros

Good flexibility for scheduling, work environment and targets. Management very competent. Organization has very youthful mentality. Many employees under 40 in roles. Benefits and compensation are very competitive.

Cons

Lack of power when servicing customers. Compliance regulations are too strict. President's Choice Financial has stagnated in growth and is not as competitive with the other banks anymore.

Pros

It is a large financial institution.

Cons

Messages from management change monthly. Management pretends to listen but ignores employees. Employees are ruled by fear and consider themselves expendable as people disappear regularly. Clients question the bank's direction and stability. No customer loyalty as Finacial Advisors change every year. Some clients have had 7 advisors over 7 years in a role that claims to be built on relationships.
