Pros

good benefits package, cohesive team, loved the downtown location (King & Bay)

Cons

jumped through hoops to obtain a promotion, salary uncompetitive, repeated requests for specific tasks to obtain further experience ignored/turned down. Parlayed this experience into a better-paying position elsewhere. No opportunities for promotion.

Pros

When available support for training is generally provided.

Cons

Financial performance of the bank is directly related to the opportunities provided for training and career development. As the company has not had positive results (as communicated to employees) training budgets are one of the first things to disappear.
