Pros

Big Company just name only.

Cons

HR . Managers are not allowed to give your reference even you have worked for 10 years. But when they hire you they always ask for it.

Pros

- Staff are all very friendly and supportive - Opportunities to move around within CIBC

Cons

- No work life balance at some departments, with lack of respect for people's vacation - Vacation payout from carry forward significantly less than equivalent work pay (not fair for employees to get "penalized" financially if they are not able to take vacation due to workload) - Below industry salary (don't expect your salary/bonus will be much higher just because you're a work a lot harder than others or you are a high performer)
