Pros

Room for growth and advancement within the company if you have a supportive manager. Also, having a good relationship with the financial advisor you work with makes the job more enjoyable. Employees within the branch are normally very supportive when you need further assistance.

Cons

Pay isn't competitive based on the amount of work that's expected. An increase at year-end for your salary/hourly pay is usually very minimal

Pros

- Good to gain experience - Vacation and holidays are not that much of an issue - decent benefits package.

Cons

- Too much micromanagement - don't expect to grow vertically in few years as most of the senior staff has been working in same profile for over 15+ years. - the IT systems are a disaster. In order to extract one piece of information - you probably have to jump through 5 different software and each with a different login id and password - work load is too much - pay is not in sync with the kind of workload -
