Workers are miserable. Nice people, but very miserable. - HR doesn't seem to do a good job in screening for good people managers. As a result, the workers are miserable from the lack of appreciation and professionalism that middle mgmt has shown. - look at other bank reviews by employees and you won't see nearly as much negative sentiment as you do with cibc. - consider this review a favour to all who are thinking of applying. horribly, horribly run company, right from senior management all the way down to the branch managers. There is a complete lack of training, they have the most unintuitive computer systems I have ever seen in my life, the work environment is like a junior high school, just completely unprofessional, and you have to proactively sell people credit products they do not need and make them a slave to the bank or lose your job.
