Pros

It has a strong sales culture and they will give you a lot of training, they push their employees hard so you learn lots of soft and hard skills in a relatively short period of time. Also the benefits package is not bad, and their Imperial Service division is a very well run business unit, I think every FSR thought about joining it at some point.

Cons

The compensation is in my opinion sub par relative to the competition, especially smaller banks and credit unions. Lots of pressure can be stressful, you are often required to work overtime which is not paid for, and also the bank has a very high turnover rate among FSRs and CSRs, so when the new people come in, you usually are expected to pick up the slack - it can detract greatly from achieving the targets.

Pros

good base pay and incentive pay; flexible work environment; down to earth people; not demanding so good for family life

Cons

lack of competent people; lack of strategic vision and ability to execute it; no real leadership but mostly reactive knee jerk reactions; projects get started and then are killed late in the cycle; lots of really terrible managers get promoted to higher positions
