Compensation is competitive. Thats about the only positive thing there is at CBRE.

Cons

This company is ruthless with their employees. They profess to be involved in all of these great benefits for the employee but I have seen them bully several staff members. Working conditions vary from office to office. Be very careful if you are considering this company as an employer. Look elsewhere.

Pros

Great benefits and vacation. Great coworkers (and I mean an amazing group of people). Beautiful office, convenient location, close to transit, and is over the path in downtown Toronto. A few other perks are great events and a lot of fundraising.

Cons

The Toronto DT office recently went through a lot of changes within the management team and it has changed the working environment completely. Within a year, One of the longest running managing directors retired, and shortly after that the office manager of 30 odd years moved positions. The two of them held that office together and were a blessing. They always treated everyone with fairness and equality. They were overall great leaders for the company. The dynamic quickly turned into a very overworked under appreciated workplace.

Pros

If you are an under achiever go here. Work life balance is great because expectations are so low. A high achiever can do 40 hrs of work in 20 which leaves you plenty of time do follow your own bliss.

Cons

Employees here are not high quality and lack the intelligence and drive common required to bring this business forward. During my time here I was so bored. Pay inequality is amazing - sometimes more than $100k difference between men vs women and minorities.
