Pros

Income potential is great. If you can close your deals you are well on your way to a solid six figure income.

Cons

Only the strong survive. Darwinistic which some may take badly. Very cyclical and hard to hit your targets during times like these.

Pros

Corporate environment for those geared to that. Well structured for the corporate atmosphere with no need to re-invent the wheel. Benefits are good with generous time off with pay for more senior managers - when you can take off that is.

Cons

No opportunity to use entrepreneurial skills, think for yourself, initiative is not rewarded. An excessive amount of administrative paperwork can be a burden. CBRE is a Los Angeles based company trying to force the Manhattan market into a west coast mold with a limited degree of success. Managers will feed you to clients to avoid any difficulties in retaining accounts leading to poor employee morale.
