Pros

Great culture and people. Work-life balance is awesome. Pretty decent benefits. Good clients to work with.

Cons

Unorganized collaboration and understanding between departments. Recently experienced massive layoffs and hired a new CEO. The company's operations are so far behind compared to other competitors. It has decent software, but other larger and more reliable companies have now caught up and produce better reliable offerings. Boomi is quickly becoming obsolete and is surviving on yet-to-be-proven promises and an outdated software reputation. So have a backup plan if you choose to work here just in case.

Pros

Nice new modern newly renovated downtown office in the Bentalls Monthly cellphone bill reimbursement Food; snacks, energy drinks, and lunch once a week You will make connections Good products, but bad roadmap

Cons

The sales compensation structure underwent multiple significant changes in a short period and many many AEs were not happy and making any money. One of the worse comp plans presently. **For anyone applying as an AE, make sure you speak with AEs on LinkedIn before pulling the trigger working with Boomi, ask about AEs hitting and attaining quota, and what the percentage is for each team. Don't let them lie to you** SDRs are currently supporting a high volume of AEs (3-5 AEs per SDR). Concerns exist regarding some AEs "flipping" opportunities to SDRs to help them achieve quota (and compensation), which in turn the SDR will work for the AE that is willing to "flip" opportunities. Management exhibits a lack of professionalism and emotional instability high-pressure situations, which negatively impacts team morale and decision-making. The Vancouver HR team is ineffective in its role to advocate for and protect employee interests, instead prioritizing the company's needs (e.g., rapid backfilling of terminated roles).
