Pros

Nice lunch, campus is beautiful. Working remotly for some teams is easier then others. They offer some nice benefits for travel or different type of leave.

Cons

Management is really toxic and there is a lot of favoritism and nepotism all over. Generally, leadership is not that good at leading. People stay there for salaries and status. Career is progression hardly possible.

Pros

Good opportunity to turn a contract role into a long-term career move. Becoming permanent brought more stability, better benefits, and a stronger sense of being part of the team. Collaborative environment with good exposure to the wider business.

Cons

As a permanent employee there is naturally more process and internal navigation than as a contractor. Progress can take time in a large organisation, and expectations can grow quickly after the transition.
