There is not a lot of transparency within low and high level leadership, nor is there room to grow, especially not quickly. Many people reach their ceiling and cannot see any way forward or even parallel in other areas, much less a fast or normal-paced one. Particularly in this role and area of Privacy, if you have a legal background, this is not the role or area for you. Though it may seem that it is legal adjacent, it is not even close. There is also no way to move from the operational teams of privacy to legal.
