The company offers excellent opportunities, incredible training and produces super cool products.

Cons

Frequently you feel like you are doing 2 or 3 full time jobs. Work computers have so much "special enterprise software" on them they often move at a snails pace.

Pros

Boeing has a wonderful benefits program and they are very concerned about their employees' educations. Also, they are one of the few companies that are ahead with Best Practices, LEAN, Employee Involvement, Diversification, Corporate Governance, Ethics, and much more.

Cons

Not too much chance of advancement unless you are willing to move to another city.

Pros

The benefits, especially the educational assistance. No managerial approval is needed to take a class and the classes don't even have to relate to your field of work. You'll get reimbursed if you get a C.

Cons

The lower level management isn't very passionate about what they do. In retrospect I don't think that they are given the tools of the chances to succeed by the higher level management, but still there were a lot of people that probably shouldn't be managers in the engineering department.
