      Pros

      Barclays Bank of Delaware does in fact pay very well in comparision to many other industries.

      Cons

      When you actually figure out the time required to be spent at work as well as the difficult environment the hourly wage comes out much less than expected. You are always having to do 200% with no down time and fire fighting instead of planning. Often encouragement to do more overtime and work is done with whips and bats instead of understanding that they have asked the same people to do 200% for the past 8 continious months..

      The best reasons were being able to work as part of a team and getting involved in various assignments with high level of resonsibility

      Cons

      they did not provide me with enough feedback on my performance I feel how they assessed my perfomance was not very efficient

      Pros

      Lots of travel if you like. It can be an rewarding job with the right leadership.

      Cons

      Careful, most management is ruthless, which trickles down. When you are hired, be VERY clear as to you position. Many new hires leave Barclays within 3-6 months because the job to which they arrive is very different (junior) to the job they were promised. It is a strategic move on the part of management. As soon as you have a manager you respect, he/she will replaced with a lackey. I had four managers in three years - each rightfully more paranoid than the last. The individuals receiving promotion will be the ones you respect the least...
