      Work pressure . Office politics and oudated work culture

      Salary is good . Transportation

      Work culture. Continuous work pressure on all eployees which may leads to overthing and sleepless nights. Un necessary tasks to occupy team. Office politics is at its pick. If you are tech geek then this place is hell for you. (Here use of jenkin is inovation. ) So many calls where people discuss plans and don't work on it at all. For Automation testers: neither you will get functional understanding nor you will be doing Automation testing. You will end up doing execution and execution of same test cases . You may currently OK with it. Eventually it will lead to frustration and helplessness.

      One of the worst experiences of my life.

      Parking was available. There was a pension scheme.

      I was based in Coventry Westwood business park personal risk. This was my first job after leaving University. It was just a really horrible place to work. I think you would call it a culture of 'passive aggressive' bullying now. Memories of this was an office whereby nobody spoke to anyone. Silence was the norm for the whole day. My job was to in effect understudy a contractor with the intention of taking over her job! She who didn't want to lose her job. This put me in a very awkward position. She reported to the head of the department that I couldn't do my job with my inevitable dismissal due to incompetence. It took me a while to get my confidence and career back on track. I don't think I will ever truly recover from it.

      Pros

      Work life balance.. unless there's a release. In which case you can expect to work overtime daily + weekends.

      Cons

      Micro management all around with no regards for technical growth. No consideration for employees career growth/learning curve. Only thing that matters is mechanical deliverables.
