Pros

Bonuses, shift options, great colleagues, free onsite parking, canteen, good atmosphere

Cons

In Retentions there's a 12 week 'Rotation' where everyone's stats for the previous 12 weeks are analysed by computer and you may be moved to a different Campaign or into AOT (Advice of Transfer). This is not negotiable and does not take into account your personality or wishes. I have experienced bullying by a manager (to be fair, all the other managers are lovely) which has caused stress and I'm looking to leave because of this.

Pros

I'm struggling to think of any - historically BT was once a vibrant, exciting and challenging business with many very smart people working hard to build great solutions for customers. Actually I last worked for the business in 1997, but the Glassdoor web form didn't allow me to go that far back.

Cons

BT is in a massive hole, obsessed with TV rather than enabling fantastic communications for the UK and its global clients. The parlous state of UK mobile comms and broadband lies squarely on BT's plate and no-one else's. The management will blame the regulator, the government - who have mostly just failed to hold BT to acccount. The Italian fiasco is the icing on the cake, and I'm delighted to see that the regulator is finally forcing Openreach to legally separate - but still falls short of properly splitting from the group.

Pros

Good colleagues and made some good friends

Cons

Very political Terrible company to work for, I have seen people being actively managed out and bullied in the workplace Expected to work all day every day with little acknowledgment or additional pay and when you have worked all the hours and gone above and beyond, you are rewarded with an equally unfair review process whereby you are told you 'achieved standard'
