      Great consulting firm with incredibly smart folks ... if you're into high-level IT consulting, this is the place for you

      Pros

      Knowledge sharing, level of intelligence within the company, future offered by large global mother company (British Telecom). The company has a rich history when it comes to knowledge sharing and knowledge management/knowledge base. These guys really know consulting and have worked it out to a work of art. The deliverables they produce make clients go WOW! There is a very solid reason that this company was aquired last year by the huge global telecom/IT provider "British Telecom". This is a 110,000+ company which offers long term stability

      Cons

      Travel, local management, poor local sales model, currently a bit of unsure where BT is going to take the company as part of last year's acquisition.

      Pros

      interesting projects - good diversity, good people and high rewards for achievement. The company is trying to innovate in the telecommunications space, and reshape itself with the changing environment. The people at BT are changing too - there is a cultural shift occurring whereby people are shelving the old mantra of 'clocking in' and are taking much more ownership for their results and responsibilities. The competition is tough yet BT is attempting to stay ahead, whilst still keeping its regulatory supervisors at bay - such as Offcom and others in the UK.

      Pros

      Global Brand if you are in that environment as it is recognized well in Europe. If the company's vision is executed correctly with the right people, then the upside potentials are huge.

      Cons

      Slow, poor execution of corporate strategy and lack of enough quality and qualified workers. The quality workers usually end up doing the job of the unqualified workers. Not enough workers that truly have what it takes to be working and leading an IT service company.
