      Pros

      Flexible work environment with viirtual workforce. You can work from home and not be tied down to an 8-5 in an office

      Cons

      The level of excellence is not there. I would estimate that 50% of professionals have college degrees while the other half feel like a degree is worthless and their MS or Cisco certificaitons somewho equalize the playing field. Promotions are hokey at best when you work with non-degreed people with titles of Senior Principal and yet have never completed economics 101. You want professional...go to Accenture, Booz, etc

      BT Global Services is a very global company with many opportunities to travel and work abroad if you are single and looking for this kind of lifestyle.

      Cons

      No published or monitored career progression. No performance reviews from the people you actually work for. Just like consulting. Conference calls around the clock

      Good work, life balance in the Americas SSC (Finance).

      Cons

      Not in US corp headquarters (El Segundo, CA), nor UK Global Corporate headquarters, so difficult to network internally, limiting upward mobility opportunities as the company tends to promote from a UK centric perspective.
