      Working for BT in the UK seems to be a very stable job.

      Working for BT in the US when your projects are in the UK can be challenging.

      Pros

      Flexibility in working from home and ease of getting time off whenever it's needed. Also, within the small individual team there is a great deal of camaraderie.

      Cons

      Opaque management, which ends up making it seem like they don't listen to the concerns of line employees even if they actually do. Also, raises are extremely hard to come by.
