Secure job but salary is restrictive through promotions

Pros

BT is a very secure company to work for due to its transition centre program. It is also very open to moving around the company and building a career. I finished my apprenticeship as a engineer in 2009 and am now a senior manager in 2015

Cons

Moving through the company is easy however their is a pay rise cap for promotions meaning if you progress quickly you are almost certain to end up working below the pay range of your role.

good relationship with colleagues management is competent good salary very good benefits

shifts too few people, lot of work to do hard to cooperate with other departments, they usually don't want to answer to the e-mails
