      Pros

      Flexibility - If you need flexibility with your job in regards to working hours and location then BT is the best company I have ever seen. The ability to be able to work from home or in a local office (there is a local office in most towns/cities however you may not realise they are BT buildings). Pay/benefits - The pay is average (some may argue below average) however the benefits you get working for BT outweigh the pay. I.e. Pensions, annual leave, sick pay etc. Good training budgets.

      Cons

      The buildings are horrible/run down except the HQ which is still extremely basic. Unsociable company unless in Marketing/consumer. Hierarchy is sometimes very unclear/ wide spread.

      Pros

      Flexible working hours, allows employee to manage work/home commitments effectively. Good range of benefits (eg company share scheme, free broadband, healthcare plans, employee discounts on wide range of items), friendly working environment.

      Cons

      Very process driven. It takes a long time to accomplish task/requirements as a single request often has to be processed by numerous separate teams (who each have to do 'do their bit' ). If one of the teams incorrectly process the request, it is difficult/time consuming to correct the error.
