Extra work is not paid and there is no hour banking, useless and oblivious management and team leaders, low wages, surreally high workload, working from home is strictly forbidden, internal mobility only exists on paper, career progression hardly exists, absolutely no transparency and very poor communication, very "high schoolish" work environment, cannot count on the HR team (often do not reply to emails and do not answer phones, and even when they do, they're useless).

I had heard before I joined BNPP that the culture let the Bank down and unfortunately I saw for myself when I was there the extent to which the Bank tolerates bullying in the London office even when employees formally raise it. HR do openly accept appalling behaviour that other Banks just wouldn’t tolerate.
