      Pros

      BASF has one of the best, most comprehensive and extensive benefits package I have ever seen in my career. They also have a strong "learning culture", where questions are always welcome and seen as interest in growing. The number of opportunities for development is huge, and the people are just great to work with

      Most of the issues of larger corporations, like IT problems, impersonal HR processes / systems

      Pros

      Solid company with great benefits. Talent is rewarded and appreciated. Being one of the worlds largest chemical companies, they are financially secure to say the very least.

      Cons

      With such a large company comes lots of "red tape", forms, procedures etc. sometimes the internal paperwork can be tedious. Smaller divisions or business segments are of little consequence to the performance of the overall corporation.
