      Okay place to get started in your career

      Pros

      Okay employer in the New Haven area, some flexibility with remote work, good way to get foot in the power/utility industry.

      Cons

      Worked on the regulated side. Seems to have a lot of unnecessary management input from parent company, business needs and deadlines are not well communicated, silo-ed org with lots of redundant efforts, somewhat understaffed and doesn't have the best talents lining up for job openings, benefits are okay but compensation is not great.

      Great pay and great people!

      Pros

      The pay was amazing, the people were great to work with and the environment was corporate but not toxic, which is rare. The space is really nice and a lot of people are willing to help you when you need it.

      Cons

      The company got really big really fast and lost some of the family feeling it had before. I think there needs to be better communication, better opportunities for women and minorities inside the company. It's the feeling of being a number instead of a human being to me that made me leave.

      Stale operations culture, slow to innovate
